Family Gaming

I felt bad as my wife watched on from the couch as I played the greatness that is:

(I just beat the 2nd boss)
So I decided to go trade in a Nintendo DS game that she had just completed …

(Which, by the way, she says is fantastic!)
I took it to the glorified pawn-shop that is GameStop and proceeded to pick up a title that both her and I could play together…
(when she is looking a bit lonely as I turn-base-battle-beasties)!
I picked up this:

I have heard lots of great things about the title.
You battle your way through ALL SIX MOVIES… How bad can it really be?
And, let’s face it, there aren’t many titles that 2 people can sit side-by-side and play through together.

(And don’t worry… I still have Lost Odyssey and will continue to “Battle-On”!)

BULLETBOYS RETURN

THE BULLETBOYS are coming back!!! They have just been signed a new record contract with Chavis Records… An album is getting readied for a worldwide release.
Who are they, you ask?
Give a listen:
Smooth Up In Ya

For The Love Of Money

BUT, NOW THE BAD NEWS…
If you want to hear what they sound like now…http://www.chavisrecords.net
They are changing quite a bit from the sound of the new track. That is just sad :(

DVD Pick O’ The Week 4/29/2008

Selected episodes of this classic 1960s espionage series have been available on DVD, but for the first time, each of the three seasons is available in a complete set. Robert Culp and Bill Cosby play globe-trotting secret agents who pose as a tennis star and his trainer. Cosby earned particular notice – including three Emmys – for skillfully making the transition from stand-up comedy to weekly drama.

Here’s a clip featuring a “Molotov-Convertible”!!!

Check Out This Comic: BAYOU

I am a freak for Graphic Novels! I love the worlds that open up to me through words and pictures. When I found this great “in-progress” work from a man named Jeremy Love… I Flipped Out and couldn’t wait to pass it along to you!
Here is a quick synopsis of BAYOU:
“South of the Mason-Dixon lurks a strange world of gods and monsters born of years of slavery, civil war, innocent blood, hate and strife. The daughter of a poor black sharecropper, Lee Wagstaff, joins a blues-singing swamp monster name Bayou on a southern odyssey through a mythic combination of depression era Mississippi, African mythology and American folklore in order to rescue her childhood friend and save her father’s life.”
The best part about this is that you can read it for FREE!!!

Check out this link: http://zudacomics.com/bayou

Jeremy Love (the artist/writer) has an animation and illustration studio named GettoSake that he runs with his brother. You can find that site by clicking here: http://www.gettosake.com/blog/
Jeremy also has a Myspace site: http://www.myspace.com/jeremyalove

The Zuda Comics Site (http://zudacomics.com) has lots more “work-in progress” comics that you can check out and they even run contests for you to pick the best of the best every few months.
