Why This? Why Now?

I have had years and years of practice in procrastination.

I have started and stopped more projects than you could possibly imagine. This is a fault that I am truly aware of… I battle it daily.

I have been acting in plays for a number of years now. I have done classic comedy. I have done musicals. I have done straight drama. But I’ve had the most fun doing Dinner Theatre.

There is something about Dinner Theatre that sets it apart in the world of theatre. The process of acting IN the audience adds a level of excitement that you wouldn’t believe. They are right next to you… Examining your every move and word (It’s their job). If you screw up you have to trust the other actors to move you in the right direction or the entire show could be ruined and UNSOLVABLE!

It was a desire to do more Dinner Theatre shows that led me to attempt to write my own.

And guess what?

I actually finished the script!

My first Dinner Theatre show will be produced very soon…

I couldn’t be more excited!

Pain In The (Back)

A year ago, my wife had back surgery.

It was a process that was not fun at all. She was in severe pain. She got little to no sleep and was pretty much miserable.

Yesterday afternoon her back began hurting again.

Last night the pain was almost unbearable.

We hope to get her in to see a doctor sometime today.

We also hope that she doesn’t need another surgery.

Pray for that.

WOW! Has it really been a year since I updated this blog? I’m sorry for that. Life got in the way. I plan on getting back into the swing of things here… I promise… Really.
